ঈদে মিলাদুন্নবী পালন। Eid-a-Miladunnabi celebration.
মিলাদ (میلاد) শব্দের অর্থ জন্ম, জন্মকাল বা জন্ম মুহূর্ত।
আন-নবী (النبي) শব্দের অর্থ মহানবী হযরত মুহাম্মদ (সা.)। আর এর সাথে যখন ঈদ (عيد) শব্দটি যুক্ত হয়ে 'ঈদে মিলাদুন্নবী' হয়, তখন তার অর্থ দাঁড়ায়—নবীজির জন্মদিনের আনন্দোৎসব। নবীর জন্মের বিবরণ, কিছু ওয়ায ও নবীর রূহের আগমন কল্পনা করে তার সম্মানে উঠে দাঁড়িয়ে ‘ইয়া নাবী সালামু আলায়কা’ বলা ও সবশেষে জিলাপী বিতরণ- এই সব মিলিয়ে ‘মীলাদ মাহফিল’ ইসলাম প্রবর্তিত ‘ঈদুল ফিতর’ ও ‘ঈদুল আযহা’ নামক দু’টি বার্ষিক ঈদ উৎসবের বাইরে ‘ঈদে মীলাদুন্নবী’ নামে তৃতীয় আরেকটি ধর্মীয় অনুষ্ঠানে পরিণত হয়েছে।
ঈদে মিলাদুন্নবী উদযাপন একটি সুস্পষ্ট বিদ‘আত। রাসূলুল্লাহ (সা:) বলেন, مَنْ أَحْدَثَ فِى أَمْرِنَا هَذَا مَا لَيْسَ مِنْهُ فَهُوَ رَدٌّ ‘যে ব্যক্তি আমাদের শরী‘আতে এমন কিছু নতুন সৃষ্টি করল, যা তার মধ্যে নেই, তা প্রত্যাখ্যাত’।[1]
তিনি আরো বলেন,وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَمُحْدَثَاتِ الأُمُورِ فَإِنَّ كُلَّ مُحْدَثَةٍ بِدْعَةٌ ‘তোমরা দ্বীনের মধ্যে নতুন সৃষ্টি করা হ’তে সাবধান থাক। নিশ্চয়ই প্রত্যেক নতুন সৃষ্টিই বিদ‘আত ও প্রত্যেক বিদ‘আতই গোমরাহী’।[2] জাবের (রাঃ) হ’তে অন্য বর্ণনায় এসেছে, وَكُلَّ ضَلاَلَةٍ فِى النَّارِ ‘এবং প্রত্যেক গোমরাহীর পরিণাম জাহান্নাম’।[3]
ইমাম মালেক (রহঃ) স্বীয় ছাত্র ইমাম শাফেঈকে বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ (সা:) ও তাঁর সাহাবীদের সময়ে যেসব বিষয় ‘দ্বীন’ হিসাবে গৃহীত ছিল না, বর্তমান কালেও তা ‘দ্বীন’ হিসাবে গৃহীত হবে না।

The word Milad (Milad) means birth or moment of birth.
The word An-Nabi means the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
And when the word Eid (Eid) is added to it and becomes 'Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi', it means the joyous celebration of the birthday of the Prophet. The details of the Prophet's birth, some waz and the arrival of the Prophet's soul by standing up in his honor by saying 'Ya Nabi Salaamu Alaika' and finally distributing jilapi, 'Milad Mahfil' has become the third religious event called 'Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi' outside the two annual Eid festivals of 'Eid-ul-Fitr' and 'Eid-ul-Azha' introduced by Islam.
The celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi is a clear bid'at. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him:) said, "Whoever invents something new in our Shari'ah which is not in it, it will be rejected." [1]
He said, "Beware of the creation of a new religion in the midst of the world." Surely, every new creation is a bid'ah and every bid'ah is misguided." [2] It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that "and the consequences of every mistake are Hell". [3]
Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) told his student Imam Shafi'i that the things which were not accepted as 'Deen' in the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his Companions will not be accepted as 'Deen' even today.
