أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
উচ্চারণঃ আস্তাগফিরুল্লা-হাল্লাযী লা ইলা-হা ইল্লা হুয়াল হা'ইয়্যুল কাইয়ুমু অ আতুবু ইলাইহি।
অর্থঃ আমি সেই আল্লাহর নিকট ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করছি যিনি ছাড়া কোন সত্য উপাস্য নেই। যিনি চিরঞ্জীব, অবিনশ্বর। এবং আমি তার কাছে তওবা করছি।
এই দুআ ৩ বার পড়লে যুদ্ধক্ষেত্র থেকে পলায়ন করার মত পাপ হলেও মাফ হয়ে যাবে। (আবু দাউদ -১৫১৭)
The dua of forgiveness :
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "He who says: 'Astaghfir ullah-alladhi la ilaha illa Huwal-Haiyul-Qayyumu, wa atubu ilaihi (I seek the forgiveness of Allah, there is no true god except Allah, the Ever-Living, the Self- Subsisting, and I turn to Him in repentance),' his sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield (while he was engaged in fighting for the Cause of Allah)."
